All right, fans ... it's time to rhyme

In case you're not excited enough about Saturday's playoff game, here's a collection of various Panthers anthems, raps, fight songs, what have you. All of these should be suitable for family listening -- we're talking about bad words, not song quality -- but let us know if if we missed something.

We start with something from that magical 2003 season in which the Panthers fell just short in the Super Bowl.

Another rap, and I get the feeling these guys would like to see some pain brought.

A more recent release, unveiled before the start of this season.

And for those of you feeling more old school. You know it. You love it. The official fight song.

  6. why does the front page of charlotte.com say "All right Panther fans, it's to bust a rhyme"? do you all not proofread before you publish? that sentence doesn't even make sense. that's pathetic.

  8. SO you're the first person on the planet who's never made a mistake. Nice to finally meet you.

  9. Making a spelling or grammatical error here and there in casual writing isn't a big deal.

Consistently making errors on the front page of a news publication staffed with writers, journalists, and supposed "editors" IS a pretty big deal.

Plus, a few typos can be forgiven if the content makes up for it but with the Observer that rarely holds true. And people wonder why subscription rates are plummeting...

  11. Maybe it's just me, but I like the Fight Song after a victory. I envy teams like Philadelphia that have songs the whole crowd sings. Over time, maybe we'll have something like that, too.

  12. Bringing the Pain is the best one. They should start the game with the old school introduction though, and immediately follow it up with "Bringing the Pain"

  13. If Philly beats NY and the Panthers beat the Cardinals and Eagles, then you could say that Carolina "killed two birds with one home".
